A giant Ferris wheel has returned to the centre of York – offering stunning views over the city.

Visitors will be able to ride the 33-metre (108.268ft) high wheel in St Sampson’s Square from tomorrow (Saturday, May 10) until Saturday, June 7. It will be open daily from 11am to 7pm.

Bishopthorpe-based company Create Memories Together is behind the attraction, which was first brought to the city centre in 2022.

It offers views of some of York's most well-known sites, including York Minster, Clifford's Tower, Shambles, Museum Gardens, the City Walls and the River Ouse.

“Come along and enjoy the great views of the great city,” John said. “It’s good to see the city from a different point.”
