A 44-year-old man is due to appear in court this morning in connection with a stabbing incident in York.
The man has been charged with causing grievous bodily harm with intent and possessing an offensive weapon in a public place, following an incident that occurred on Baker Street, York, on Thursday 5th June.
He is scheduled to appear at York Magistrates’ Court today (Tuesday 10th June).
The victim remains in a stable condition in hospital.
Two other individuals arrested in connection with the incident have been released on bail while investigations continue. A further four people who were taken into custody have been released with no further action.
