Appeal to Locate York Man Recalled to Prison

North Yorkshire Police, Appeals

North Yorkshire Police are urgently appealing for information to help trace a York man who has been recalled to prison.

Jason Daniel Rhodes, 33, of Union Terrace, has breached the terms of his prison release licence. He was sentenced to 55 weeks in prison in August 2024 for possessing a bladed article in a public place.

Rhodes is now wanted by police following his alleged involvement in recent suspected violent incidents, which have triggered his recall to custody.

Police believe Rhodes may still be hiding in the York area and are asking the public to report any sightings or information that could help locate him.

If you know where Jason Rhodes is or have seen someone matching his image, please:
Call North Yorkshire Police on 101 quoting reference number 12250112268.
For immediate sightings, dial 999 to help officers act quickly.
If you prefer to remain anonymous, you can contact Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 or make a report online.
