Families are in for a treat this summer as Aardman in Concert comes to the stage with a live orchestra.
On 29th August 2026, at The York Barbican you can celebrate 50 years of Wallace & Gromit, Shaun the Sheep and friends in a spectacular live event.
This cinematic and musical celebration brings together Aardman’s most loved characters — including Wallace & Gromit, Shaun the Sheep, Timmy Time, Morph and Creature Comforts — on the big screen, accompanied by a world-class live orchestra.
Presented by Carrot Productions in partnership with Aardman, the brand-new 2026 show takes audiences on a joy-filled journey through five decades of British creativity, blending classic characters, iconic humour and unforgettable music.
The performance culminates in a full screening of The Wrong Trousers, complete with live orchestral soundtrack — creating a truly magical experience for fans of all ages.
With showings at 1pm and 3.30pm, and suitable for ages 3+, Aardman in Concert promises a hilarious and heartwarming day out for the whole family.
