York City Football Club will be welcoming former England footballer Paul Merson to the LNER Community Stadium for one of Elite Events’ ‘An audience with’ evenings.
The event takes place on Thursday 1st June from 8pm until 10pm in the LNER Lounge, with tickets starting from £27.75 (including booking fee).

Merson had a hugely successful playing career, representing England 21 times alongside an 11-year stay with Arsenal during which they were crowned champions of England twice, FA Cup winners, League Cup winners, and European Cup Winners’ Cup winners.
In his later career, Merson turned out for the likes of Middlesbrough, Aston Villa, and Portsmouth before launching a career in broadcasting. Merson has been a mainstay on Sky Sports’ Soccer Saturday programme as a match reporter and pundit, and recently starred in Harry’s Heroes: The Full English on ITV.
Merson has spoken openly in recent years about struggles with mental health and addiction, sharing his story as a means of helping others overcome their own struggles.
