A team of primary school pupils in York have raced to the top in a competition backed by Formula 1.
Hempland Primary School took home the top three spots in the Primary category at the STEM Racing Regional Finals, while Scarborough UTC were crowned Professional Class Regional Champions.
The event, held at the National STEM Centre in York on February 2 and 3, saw teams from Scarborough and York impress judges with their miniature F1 car designs.
