York BID's newest Halloween event, Treemendous is set to take over the Coppergate Centre with it's towering tree-giants on Saturday 25th October.
Have you ever been walking in the woods and imagined you saw the trees get up and move or a rustle of leaves making it look like the trees were speaking to each other?
Well, imagine no more because York BID have created enormous human-like tree characters for their newest event, Treemendous where you can watch the giants perform their tree-riffic tricks in the Coppergate courtyard for free from 14:00.
At the grand height of 9 feet tall, these man-like trees will tower above you.
Compiled of what looks like branches which define their giant, strong bodies, twigs and moss with gnarly fingers ready to snatch you up or give you a high five, these spooky tree giants will bring their mystical woodland magic to the Coppergate Centre.
Their carved wooden faces with mossy facial hair make them the perfect selfie companions - if you can reach!
This enchanted, immersive experience invites families, children and visitors of all ages to meet the larger than life characters up close and have some Halloween fun.
Carl Alsop, Operations Manager at York BID, said: “We’re so excited to bring Treemendous to York this October. events like this encourage people to visit York, support our brilliant local businesses, and enjoy some Halloween fun together.”
There will be plenty of photo opportunities for you to capture the fun of this unique experience.
This event is proudly a Purple Flag initiative, creating vibrant, family-friendly experiences in York City Centre to champion a safe, welcoming, and thriving city for residents and visitors alike.
