Pupils at Wigginton Primary School are set for a sweet learning experience thanks to the support of Tesco Community Champion Emily Degg.
When Emily heard that Years 3 and 4 would be studying a unit on chocolate, she stepped in to help bring the topic to life. Through her donation, the children will now be able to explore the story of chocolate in school and even create their own chocolate-inspired designs as part of the project.
Emily said, “As soon as I heard about Wigginton Primary’s chocolate theme, I knew I wanted to get involved. I hope the donation has helped make this project possible — and, most importantly, that the children enjoy every moment.”
The initiative reflects Tesco’s ongoing commitment to supporting local schools and community groups, helping young people learn in fun, creative, and engaging ways.
