A section of Station Road in Thirsk will close for a week as part of ongoing improvement works in the town.
The closure will affect the stretch of road in front of the Tesco filling station and will begin at 7pm on Sunday 11 January. The road will remain fully closed for 24 hours a day for one week, with no access available during this time.
Organisers of the works have confirmed that key stakeholders have been notified in advance, including emergency services and Tesco, to help minimise disruption and ensure safety while the improvements are carried out.
Drivers are advised to plan ahead, allow extra time for journeys and follow any signed diversion routes during the closure period.
