A primary school in York has been named a Lead School for music.
Outwood Primary Academy Alne will now champion music education across North Yorkshire, serving as a strategic partner within the Local Authority, as part of the national network of Music Hubs.
The designation is mandated by the Department for Education and overseen by Arts Council England.
