Lord Mayor of York opens new hearing clinic in town near York
A new hearing clinic has opened in Haxby Shopping Centre.
The Hearing Place was opened last Friday by Lord Mayor of York Cllr Martin Rowley.
It represents the first high street clinic for the business which began in 2020.
Owners Jess and Sam Kyei-Yamoah run clinics across the region and also offer home visits.
Audiologist Jess said the couple chose Haxby for the clinic because “it already has lots of fantastic independent businesses here and a strong community spirit.”
“We’ve been blown away by the generosity and support we’ve received since we collected the keys to the building in July.
