Tour Schedule:
- Saturday, 16th November
- Monday, 2nd December
- Saturday, 21st December
Each tour begins at 10:30 am; meet your guide inside the West Door of Selby Abbey for an in-depth exploration of this stunning historic site. Dating back to 1069, Selby Abbey was the first monastery established in Northern England after the Norman Conquest. With its striking Romanesque and Gothic architecture, Selby Abbey has survived two fires, the collapse of its central tower, and the dissolution of the monasteries, standing today as a resilient place of pilgrimage, worship, and heritage.
While the tours are free, donations are warmly welcomed to help maintain the Abbey. The Abbey is open daily to visitors from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm, with the on-site Coffee Shop and Gift Shop operating from 10:30 am to 3:30 pm.
