A unique evening dining experience is coming to York where people can dine in a covered pod under the stars by the Ouse riverside.
Five pods - with room for six diners in each pod - will be available for booking at The Riverfront York complex at Bishopthorpe when it launches its new Supper Club.
The Riverfront York team, which also run the acclaimed Bosun's restaurant on site, said the pods were brought in to offer cover in winter for customers at its popular cafe.
But now they will be part of a unique dining experience, where a rotating set menu featuring flavours from across the world will be on offer every Tuesday evening.
Richard Holmes, head of marketing and operations for the business, said the heated pods offered something different for dinners.
