A top businessman with experience in a range of ventures from brewing to ports and recruitment has joined a thriving York brewery as chairman.
Brew York has appointed Geoff Hodgson to the top role to underline the brewery’s ambitions to expand the global reach of its beers and extend its physical portfolio.
Brew York has recently announced several major UK supermarket listings, including Asda, Morrisons and the Co-op.
It has also just begun exporting to China.
Brew York also has a portfolio of nine locations across Yorkshire, representing both their Brew York and Brew+ brands.
Formed by friends Wayne Smith and Lee Grabham in 2016, the brewery is known for innovative beers including; Coney, Time Travelling Taxi, Juice Forsyth and Maris the Otter.
