A special joint concert featuring The Fairburn Singers and Austrian male choir MACH4 will take place at Selby Abbey on Saturday 31 May 2025 at 6:00pm, promising an unforgettable evening of international choral music.
The Fairburn Singers are delighted to announce their next major concert in the magnificent setting of Selby Abbey, where they will be joined by MACH4, a 57-strong male voice choir from Austria. This unique collaboration comes after a cultural exchange between the two choirs, with The Fairburn Singers travelling to Gumpoldskirchen, Austria, from 19–23 May to perform with MACH4 in their home town and surrounding venues.
MACH4 will then visit the UK at the end of May, with a performance in St Giles’ Church, Pontefract, on Friday 30 May at 6.30pm, alongside The Shiremen. The tour culminates in the highly anticipated joint concert at Selby Abbey on Saturday 31 May, also featuring acclaimed professional trumpeter Anthony Thompson.
Tickets are available via the Selby Abbey website, at the Abbey Shop, or by calling Andy on 07738 384293. Tickets will also be available on the door.
