You'll start this once-in-a-lifetime experience from the comfort of your home, with an online session to provide key information - and to build up the excitement for the day itself!

On the day, you'll get a full briefing on the world of scuba diving and the amazing array of species you can expect to encounter.

After the briefing, you'll plunge into the LOST LAGOON and the stunning CORAL OCEAN exhibit to immerse yourself in life underwater. There's an incredible variety of species to discover up close - including BRUCE THE SHARK!

It's an unforgettable experience and a fascinating insight into the aquarium's pioneering work protecting endangered species.

The two-hour experience is for you and a spectator - and includes use of all the equipment needed to make this a truly memorable day.

As if that wasn't enough, you'll be able to commemorate your experience AND celebrate the JAWS 50th Anniversary with a 'JAWS' (1975) MOVIE PRINT signed by actor RICHARD DREYFUSS and authenticated by world-renowned autograph authenticators, Beckett.

HOW TO ENTER

It's really easy to enter this competition. All you need to do is to fill out the short form below. There are NO questions to answer. Just fill in the form and hit 'submit'!

Entries close at MIDNIGHT on SUNDAY 23rd NOVEMBER 2025. The winner will be drawn at random during the week commencing 24th November 2025. 

Terms & Conditions

The prize is as stated. There is no cash alternative. The prize is not transferable.

Entry is via online form ONLY. Entries close at midnight on Thursday 29th May 2025. Entries received after the closing date will not be included in the draw. ONE entry per person. Multiple entries may be excluded from the draw.

The winner will be chosen at random from all valid entries and will be notified within 7 days of the end of the competition. The winner may be required to take part in on-air publicity.

The winner will receive a redeemable voucher code which will entitle them to the diving experience and one commemorative movie print signed by Richard Dreyfuss. We recommend you book your diving slot at least four weeks in advance to ensure that dates are available. All bookings are subject to availability. Diving Experience voucher is valid for one year. There will be a 15 minute duration to don wetsuit and boots, followed by a further 15 minute briefing. An equipment/equalisation workshop will take place before the participants undertake a breath-taking dive for a maximum of 40 minutes inside the ocean display. Please allow up to 2 hours for the full experience.

You may bring a spectator friend with you. If the winner is under the age of 16, the spectator MUST be a parent/guardian. 

The team holds full public liability insurance. They also hold contingency liability cover. You will NOT be liable for accidental damage to equipment, except where the damage has been caused as a result of recklessness. Please familiarise yourself with the terms and conditions of the experience.

Standard YO1 Radio Competition terms also apply. The decision of YO1 Radio on all aspects of this competition is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
