A trip to York Hospital with Buddy The Elf and The Grinch!

Yesterday was a wonderful experience. Wharton's Wonderland invited myself and Harry from the York Press to join them at ward 17 and 18 to take along presents to the children with Buddy The Elf and The Grinch. From the moment we walked in everyone was smiling and having photos (especially with The Grinch - who was popular with many adults). I absolutely loved being a part of going along to see all the children and their families. Seeing their little faces light up and their chats with Buddy just made my day! In a place which might feel alien to them we gave joy! The children's play team there are magical. Its jobs like this that make the world a special place and lets hope our Christmas Magic helps x
