Entering our FIVE GOLD RINGS competition is easy.

All you need to do is to COMPLETE THE SHORT FORM BELOW and hit the SUBMIT button.

We just need your name, email address and a contact telephone number. We'll use the number to call you if you win, so make sure you type it in correctly.

YOU CAN ENTER ONCE PER DAY FROM 5th DECEMBER 2025 to 21st DECEMBER 2025. THAT'S A MAXIMUM OF 17 ENTRIES PER PERSON. 

THEN, MAKE SURE YOU'RE LISTENING TO 'NICK HANCOCK IN THE MORNING' FROM 8am ON MONDAY 22nd DECEMBER. THEY'LL SELECT A WINNER AT RANDOM AND CALL YOU WITH THE GOOD NEWS. HOWEVER, YOU'LL NEED TO ANSWER YOUR PHONE WITHIN THOSE FIVE GOLD RINGS. If you don't, we'll move on to another caller until we get our winner!

TERMS & CONDITIONS

The prize on offer will be as described above. There is no alternative prize available, although we reserve the right to substitute any prize for one of equal value in the case that any prize becomes unavailable.

To enter the competition, you must live within a radius of 30 miles from York City Centre. We reserve the right to reject any entry we believe is from outside of this area. For the prize to be delivered, you must be located within 30 miles of York on Monday, 22nd December 2025, between 10am and 1pm.

You will be allowed ONE entry into the competition each day, from 5th December to 21st December 2025. Multiple entries on the same day will ALL be rejected.

You must use your real name. We reserve the right to reject any entry using an alias.

Entries close at Midnight on Sunday 21st December 2024. A winner will be chosen at random on Monday 22nd December 2025. The selected winner will be contacted between 7am and 12pm on Monday 22nd December. To win the prize you must answer your phone within five rings. If you fail to answer within five rings, an alternative winner will be selected at random. This process will continue until a winner is confirmed. The decision of YO1 Radio shall be FINAL in determining the selection of the winner, including whether a call is answered within five rings.

We reserve the right to reject any entry - and the decision of the YO1 Radio shall be final.  No correspondence will be entered into in connection with the competition and selection of the winner.

By entering the competition, you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.

Employees (and their families) of YO1 Radio, and anyone with a direct connection to the radio station, competition sponsors or the providers of the prizes MAY NOT take part.
