A North Yorkshire MP has pledged to continue working despite undergoing a major surgery.
Alison Hume, the Member of Parliament for Scarborough and Whitby, has said she will keep working despite an upcoming hip replacement operation.
The Labour MP, who was first elected in 2024, said she would be holding online surgeries instead of in person meetings with constituents for a while.
