The Micklegate at 127 has a new name and look, after the owners, Amber Taverns carried out the works.
Now known as The Harry Hotspur, they've introduced a new interior and seating, large TV screens, and brand-new dartboards to the much-loved live sports venues.
"We're incredibly excited to unveil The Harry Hotspur to the people of York," said Hannah Hubbuck, operator at The Harry Hotspur.
"Our goal is to create a welcoming space where locals can relax, enjoy great drinks at a great price, and watch their favourite live sports. The refurbishment is designed to make the pub feel fresh and inviting while preserving its friendly atmosphere."
After reopening at 5pm on Friday, April 4, Amber Taverns said they hope to establish The Harry Hotspur as a "favoured gathering" spot for sports fans, families, and anyone looking for a great venue in York.
