Fossgate Tap Bar and Kitchen announced on Tuesday, April 1, that it was forced into a temporary closure.
In a statement on social media, they said: "Due to unforeseen building work we will be temporary closed from March 31.
"We apologise for any inconvenience caused."
Workers were seen removing the floor of one of the downstairs rooms in the building, which has now been recovered.
They then confirmed to The Press that they will be reopening on Friday, April 11, at midday.
