Pavers is shutting its store at McArthurGlen York Designer Outlet where a closing down sale is underway.
The Press approached the footwear retailer for further information about its plans, but Pavers said it was unable to comment at this stage.
It is unclear when the store will close, whether Pavers is seeking another unit elsewhere in the city or what will happen to staff currently employed at the Designer Outlet store.
The York-headquartered business which has more than 160 stores across the UK and Ireland has another shop in Coppergate Centre.
The family-run business secured planning approval last year for a 11,015m2 expansion of Pavers on the Northminster Business Park at Poppleton.
Members agreed that the 130 jobs that the £10m expansion would also bring, delivered the ‘very special circumstances’ that would allow the scheme to be built in the Green Belt.
