A gallery in York is set to host a landmark exhibition celebrating more than a century of women’s artistic achievement.
Running from February 4 to March 1, the exhibition will take place at Stephenson's Gallery in York and is held in partnership with the Society of Women Artists (SWA), a UK arts institution founded in 1855 to champion women in the visual arts.
Titled A New Legacy: The Society of Women Artists at Stephenson's Gallery, the exhibition will feature a diverse selection of contemporary fine art, including painting, sculpture, and innovative works that defy traditional classification.
