Pancakes, skipping, and seaside fun is returning to Scarborough this Shrove Tuesday.
The town’s traditional Pancake Day races will take place on February 17, featuring a day of fun and competition.
Events begin at 12pm with the ringing of the Pancake Bell on North Street by North Yorkshire Council chairman Councillor George Jabbour.
