The ninth edition of Reignite, the hugely popular and leading cultural event for York & North Yorkshire, returns next month. Reignite IX: The Next Generation showcases York St John University’s Fine Art, Photography, and Illustration degree show, with 75 upcoming artists exhibiting their creative practice. The event will take place from 6-9pm on Friday 6^th June at Temple Hall, York St John University, followed by networking, drinks, and DJ.

Reignite has shown that creativity flourishes when places offer support and real opportunity. As York’s creative industries evolve, developing a strong and sustainable talent pipeline is essential. By encouraging these emerging artists to take risks and develop their practice, York will strengthen its creative economy and cultural identity. The Fine Art, Photography, and Illustration Degree Show stands as a powerful example of this commitment. York must recognise their vision and support their potential to lead the next wave of cultural innovation.
