Dragons are set to take over the streets of York as a new year looms.
York Chinese Society has revealed its plans for this year’s Chinese New Year celebrations, which will take place on Saturday (February 14).
Chinese New Year falls on the second new moon after the winter solstice – meaning that this year, the official event will take place next Tuesday (February 17) with celebrations taking place for 15 days until the Lantern Festival.
