Join actress Kika Markham from 'Mr Selfridge' who played 'Lois Selfridge' for an informative diner in conjunction with the 'Encephalitis Society' where Kika stands as Vice President. Expect an evening of good food and wines followed by a book signing.
We will gather at 6.30pm in the atrium for a Champagne drinks reception prior to a four-course dinner at 7pm served in the Wentworth Room matched with wine and goodie bag that will include a copy of Kika's book.

The XV Veterans rugby match is to be held at Malton and Norton RUFC. 18th September 2015
This event has raised over £30k towards charitable causes so far. The event planned is intended to raise the bar once more! We are planning a large event and intend to make it a real spectacle!
An evening match with curtain raisers, food & drink and plenty of entertainment for the whole family plus post match music and dancing etc. Plus entertainment provided by the England Rugby Team... Well they are playing that night too!

Join us for a hearty tour of the great beers and ciders from Ampleforth Abbey.
A great menu created by the Talbot Hotel chefs, great beers and great company. We shall meet in the bar (of course) for a taste of fine beer and cider, followed by a 3 course meal hosted by the monks themselves with a drink to match each dish.

The award-winning head chef at The Royal Oak Paley Street. (Now Bee Hive which he has bought)
Having worked in London’s Kensington Place, Dom moved to Berkshire to join the three Michelin-starred The Fat Duck. He later became head chef at The Hinds Head in Bray.
Dom has been head chef at The Royal Oak Paley Street since January 2007. He has earned a Michelin star, three AA rosettes and been named Good Food Guide's Best Pub Chef and Tatler’s Best Young Chef, both in 2009.
Each of Dom’s courses is dedicated to a different D-Day landing site and the troops who fought there.

On Easter Saturday we will be showcasing the hotel for you to see it set for a wedding or private event. Malton Marquees will have their marquee in the grounds and there will be handpicked suppliers for you to talk to. This is an opportunity to just come and browse at leisure.
