Coxwold Village Market

  • Coxwold Village Hall (map)

The Coxwold Village Market launched on Saturday 30th March, started by Katie Turner and opened by Tommy Banks of The Black Swan at Oldstead, Roots York and Great British Menu fame. It takes place at the Coxwold Village Hall on the last Saturday of every month, March - October, Sat 23rd November and our Festive Market is on Sun 22nd December! Opening at 10am and closing at 1pm.

The market is founded on a passion for the community, supporting independent businesses and the provenance of produce. We offer a wide range of artisan, locally made goods which you are guaranteed to love; stallholders range from Florists, Bee Keepers, Fromagers and Card Makers to Garden Plant Growers, Butchers, Bakers, Jewellers and Wooden Craft Creators, along with everything in between.
Joining the stallholders is the Market Café, run by Simon and Helen Rheinberg of Moonshine Icecream. The new place to breakfast, brunch or even light lunch!

Start your culinary feast with freshly baked bread from Hovingham Bakery, followed by the legendary pork pies or locally reared meat from Thornton's Bakehouse & Butchers of Easingwold. Dine on the sweet tarts and cakes from Bakehouse in the Barn and finish with cheese from far and wide by Ryedale Cheeses with Puckett's Pickle or Bay View Bees honey as the perfect accompaniment. Wash the whole thing down with Cooper King Gin and craft ales from Malton Brewery. This market offers local food producers at their best!

With live entertainment, artisan crafts and delicious, local food how can you not be tempted? Pop along to our next Market in beautiful Coxwold!
