Living With & Beyond Cancer Event

  • York District Hospital (map)

Have you recently been diagnosed with cancer or perhaps looking to live well with or after cancer?

Maybe you're supporting someone through their cancer journey and you're filled with questions and worries?

Meet our hospital teams and local organisations to find out how we support people affected by cancer.

Come see how the Trust supports those Living With & Beyond Cancer, there are now more than 2.5 million people living with cancer in the UK and over 4000 people diagnosed at York Teaching Hospital NHS Foundation Trust every year.

The impact of cancer often doesn’t end when treatment does and therefore it’s vital to support those throughout and beyond their cancer diagnosis.

This event will have stands from various departments in the Trust, local support charities and organisations highlighting the great work they are doing to support the people affected by cancer.

You will find the event a celebration filled with joy, hope, camaraderie, and compassion as we acknowledge our those Living with and Beyond Cancer.

We will also recognise the contributions of their families, friends, and healthcare professionals and raise awareness of the ongoing challenges faced by cancer today.
