Children from Easingwold and surrounding areas will put on their trainers and run, jog or walk to raise funds for Cancer Research UK’s childhood cancer research.
The ‘Little Legs for Life’ event will take place on Sunday 10th July, from 10.45am at Easingwold Football Club. The event is open to all ages up to Year 7’s and costs £3 to enter.
All funds raised will go direct to Cancer Research UK’s childhood cancer research in Yorkshire, ensuring kinder treatments and cures, bringing forward the day no child suffers or dies from cancer.

Janet Leafe, Cancer Research UK’s local fundraising manager for Easingwold said: “Around 1,500 children are diagnosed with the disease in the UK and it claims almost 300 lives. Cancer in childhood is rare, but that is still 300 too many.
