Wanted: Women with stories to tell

  • Brigantes 114 Micklegate, York YO1 6JX (map)

“We live in turbulent times. Life brings us something new every moment and for good or ill we have to deal with it. But there are special turning points in a woman’s life when there is a seismic shift in our perspective and how we respond to what happens to us changes the course of our lives,” said Sue Lister, Artistic Director of the Real People Theatre Company. “It is these pivotal experiences that we will be sharing at the York International Women’s Festival.”

The two presentations of This Changed My Life will be on 14th and 15th March at York St John University.

Auditions are on Saturday 9th January, 11am at Brigantes on Micklegate. Bring stories, poetry, song, dance, images, music and your ideas. Phone director, Sue Lister, for details on 01904 488870 and let her know you are interested.

Real People Theatre presents

Suddenly nothing is the same. What happened? An encounter, words said or unsaid, things done or left undone, a crisis, a success, a failure, a choice made, an answer not found…and attitudes, behaviour, beliefs are changed forever.

Share these life changing moments for this 17th production for YIWF by the Real People Theatre Company.
