York's Firefighters are to stage another spectacular fireworks and bonfire display next month as part of York's Guy Fawkes Day celebrations.
The event, which takes place from 6.30pm to 8.30pm on Saturday, November 7, at Rawcliffe Country Park, is being supported by City of York Council and North Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service.
Raising money for the Fire Fighters Charity, there will be a hog roast, drinks, a display of fire service equipment, stalls and music, and marching from the North Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service Pipe Band.
Entry will cost £7 for adults and £3 for children aged three and over, with under-3s admitted free of charge. Young people aged 17 or younger must be accompanied by an adult.
Tickets can be bought from all Park&Ride offices, for which the council has waived a charge, and from York, Acomb and Huntingdon fire stations during weekday office hours.
