Everyone is welcome to this open network meeting. Existing members –please bring a friend or colleague! Anyone who is interested in finding out more about dementia and how they can play a part in creating dementia friendly York.
This network meeting will focus on the topic of creating dementia friendly places and spaces, with a number of speakers sharing their experiences from different settings. Practical examples you can use in your places and spaces will be shared.
In the Dementia Friends session you will learn about dementia, through a series of informal activities. The session is specifically for people who have limited knowledge of dementia.
Existing members will have the opportunity to meet with others and share learning and experiences related to your work in small groups.
