A WOMAN from York, who has twice survived cancer, has had a 'miracle baby'.
Rebecca Moss, 28, from Wilberfoss was first diagnosed with Hodgkins Lymphoma at the age of 20 and at the time she went through chemotherapy to try and beat the disease.
But sadly, in 2021 Rebecca received another cancer diagnosis, this time it was Ewing Sarcoma, a rare type of cancer that affects bones or the surrounding tissue.
Because of her treatment, Rebecca says she was told the chances of her and husband, agricultural contractor, Kris, 29, having a baby naturally were extremely low as the treatment would have affected her fertility.
Rebecca's cancer is currently classed as not active and stable which means she has a check-up and CT scan every three months.
"I had a CT scan coming up and they ask you if you are pregnant," said Rebecca, who at the time had been feeling sick and was worried the cancer had returned.
