A BREWER and pub company based in a York village is planning an expansion to its operation along with the creation of new jobs.
Pivovar Limited, based in Elvington, is the applicant in a planning permission submission to City of York Council to expand its premises in Station Yard off York Road.
The proposal would see a tap room, brewery shop and new storage area created out of a two-storey extension to the existing brewhouse.
Plans say the tap room would be open from 11am to 11pm, seven days a week.
A new bottling line would be created for the existing brewhouse, the plans say.
In details included with the submitted application, the number of full employees would go from 15 to 26 along with an increase in a new total internal floorspace of 684 square metres, increasing from 121 square metres.
There would be room for 20 more parking spaces, the plans said.
As reported in The Press, Pivovar was created in 2005 by directors James Hawksworth and Jonathan Holdsworth.
