The York and Scarborough Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust said that free parking can "no longer be sustained", after the Government’s financial support for providing free car parking for all NHS staff during the Covid-19 pandemic ended in April 2022.
STAFF at hospitals in the York trust have hit out as charges for parking on site are set to be reintroduced later this year.
