North Yorkshire Police are investigating an assault which took place at the end of last month.
The incident took place at 7.10pm in Huntington Road on Saturday May 31 and saw a man approach a woman with flowers in his hand.
Police say that after the woman stepped past him, he threw the flowers at her.
