North Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service say they were called to a crash at 6.26am on Thursday (May 22) after reports of an accident between Moor Lane and the Rufforth roundabout, in Acomb.
A service spokesman said: “Crews from Acomb and York responded to reports of a single vehicle road traffic collision, where one vehicle had left the road and overturned.
“The occupant was out of the vehicle on arrival of crews.
“Crews are currently still at scene, making the scene safe.”
