Former York City FC defender Daniel Parslow, who was awarded a benefit year by the club at the end of last season, has announced plans for a series of fundraising events over the next 12 months. Parslow, who sits at number ten in the hall of fame of City’s all-time appearance makers, suffered a severe head injury representing the club in February. This has effectively ended his playing career.
We’ve been given the fantastic opportunity to fundraise at York City FC, during their next home game at Bootham Crescent – and we need your help to make it happen!
We are urgently in need of 8-10 volunteers who will wear a blue York Mind t-shirt, hold a blue bucket, and help us collect funds at the home game against Spennymoor Town FC.
