The York International Tattoo Convention has been running for 9 years, most previously being based at the fabulously chilled out venue known as the New Earswick Bowls Club. The York International Tattoo Convention is a two day public event for lovers of tattoos, those hoping to meet new artists for future work, people interested in tattoos and the tattoo community and even those who are open to new experience.
The Convention has over one hundred stalls offering many different types of trades, such as: clothing, bone art oddities, jewellery, tattooing, piercing, live entertainment and so much more.
When York International Tattoo Convention first started and even before that, when it was just an idea, charity was always a huge influence in the creation of our show. This proves itself every year when we hold our charity auction. The money raised is given to various charities, we raise money for Air Ambulance, help 4 heroes & Special Olympics York to name a few.
The line up of tattoo artists that work at York International Tattoo Convention are outstanding, and prove themselves to be the best year after year. We hope that York International Tattoo Convention will always be known as an attraction to the countries finest tattoo artists wanting to showcase their best of their work.
Light refreshments, hot and cold snacks and hot meals will be available both days of the convention.
Greg Stephenson, Stadium Manager of New Earswick IBC said “We are thrilled to welcome the York International Tattoo Convention back to New Earswick Indoor Bowls Club this weekend – The tattoo convention shows the versatile nature of our venue and the different events we are geared up to host, it’s sure to be a great weekend which we hope will be well supported by locals.’
The convention is open from 10am on Saturday 22nd June & Sunday 23rd June.
