Stefan McGuigan from SLM Health & Fitness joins Chris & Carla the breakfast crew to talk about pounds for pounds to raise money for diabetes UK.
Stefan explains that through exercise it does not mean that you lose weight but get healthier as you will be turning the fat into muscle and therefore less likely to become diabetic. Stefan helps people get back into shape through a good diet and exercise. These do not need to be huge changes just little changes can make a big difference. Chris is going to give up his scooter and take up biking to the studio. Carla is looking to take up running again with the aim of doing a 5k before too long, and Jayne is looking to join a slimming club.
