John Harding was live for 3 days at the 161st Great Yorkshire Show taking in the entertainment, food and atmosphere of this fantastic event. John speaks to stall holders along with visitors to the show about what makes the event so great.
Dougie is at Flax & Twine in the Shambles York and talks about the shops history and what they currently sell. They get antiques from all over the country and if they can reuse things themselves they will. They have a café with everything homemade and have 2 floors of things to buy.
The shop is open 7 days a week, has lots of genuine features and have various themes in their café.
Chris is at the 9th Wolds Cycle Challenge for Malton Special Families who help families throughout Ryedale with ongoing care to over 400 families who have children with disabilities or additional needs .
The event is a cycle ride covering 72 miles each day and is a weekend event. There are 275 riders and 12 guardian angel riders along with a number of supporters. The ride this year includes riders from Ireland as it has become so famous.
Chris talks to Rob Davis who is the organiser about why he set the event up and how it has grown over the years and the great work Ryedale Special Families does.
